Lurking and Your Involvement in the Community
We are a local group that is here to support one another in our parenting choices. Because of this support aspect, we believe that the community cannot thrive in cyberspace alone. We hold regular meetings in public places and you are encouraged to join us at our next event.

Members who have not been regularly active, either by posting or attending an event, will also be contacted by a moderator. In some cases we may ask that you leave the forum, with the understanding that you may return when you will be able to better participate in the community.

Your Profile and Personal Information
We request that all members completely fill out their profile. Because this is a local group, providing us with your location is required. You may provide us with the name of your suburb or the general area of town you live in. You are also required to post an introduction upon joining the forum. Please read and follow the guidelines in the introduction section. A moderator may also request more information from you. Any personal information that is collected will be kept secure by the moderator team. We collect this information in order to verify identity and to provide a level of safety and security in our community.

Forum rules regarding SPAM
Spam will not be tolerated in the forums. We are here to build community, not to promote products or services, or to become your customer base. We do, however, want to support our local WAHMs (Work at Home Moms), so please start a new thread in the Local Resources forum with information about your business. If you have more than one business, you may create a separate thread for each. There is a thread in the Local Resources forum with more guidelines. Please read it before posting about your business.
